Noetic Learning Math Contest
CONGRATULATIONS!
To all 47 4th and 5th grade students who came to the library yesterday to participate in the Math Contest. It was a very challenging contest. Students had to read and understand 20 different math problems and then proceed to answer them based on what question was asked in the problem. For quite a few problems there were multiple steps that had to be figured out in order to be successful in solving. Students only had 45 minutes which for some was perfect, for other it was too long and still for others it was not long enough. This contest was great practice for upcoming end of the year math testing. Students practiced endurance and perseverance.
No matter the outcome ALL students were winners for trying their best! Congratulations!!!
Students can find out how they did in their specific contest by stopping by and talking to Mrs. Geibl. Results will be posted online at the Noetic Learning Math Contest website on April 27, 2015.
